The Kindergarten class had been doing some EGGciting things we wanted to share. They learned the Stations of the Cross and the egg is symbolic of the resurrection of Jesus. They enjoyed dyeing eggs with their classmates. For many, it was their first time! Kindergarten had fun experimenting and exploring with an Easter theme STEM activity. STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering and Math. Students used creativity, collaboration, critical thinking, and communication to find a way to create a tower with the most height using plastic Easter eggs and Playdough. The Kindergarten students also went on an Easter Egg hunt on the school’s front lawn. They found eggs that contained over 100 sight words that students can now read. They wrote sentences using some of their words. They used the colored eggs they found to create a graph.
